Twenty years designing, ten leading teams — and I deliberately stayed close to the craft.
Twenty years in design, ten of them leading teams — but I never climbed away from the work. I still research, design, prototype, and ship the front-end myself, and that combination is the entire point right now.
More and more, the work that matters to me sits a level up — the design systems, tools, and workflows that let product teams ship, not just the screens themselves. In the AI-enabled era that leverage compounds: I take products from a blank repo to shipped on my own.
